Trade and Business Switzerland - Sweden
Schweiziska Handelskammaren
is a non-profit organization for companies and individuals interested in commerce and trade between Switzerland and Sweden. The main objective of Schweiziska Handelskammaren is to serve as a contact platform. The association has a close cooperation with the Embassy of Switzerland in Sweden and is an associate member of the Association of Swiss Foreign Trade Chambers.

Number of the Month - May 2012
In 2011, Switzerland imported 83‘163‘534 megawatt-hours of electricity and exported an amount of 80‘403‘050 megawatt-hours. This results in an excess of imports of 2’760’484 megawatt-hours. With this amount of electricity you could cover the average annual consumption of electricity of 690’000 Swiss households.
